I found a copy of Walking Literary London by Roger Tagholm in my local library, and knew I wanted to vlog my exploring. In this first video in the series, I visit locations in Soho and Covent Garden on my search for literary hotspots.

William Blake was born here!

Thomas Gray bought flowers here, and Charles Dickens stared at pineapples he couldn't afford!

Jane Austen stayed here with her brother between 1813 and 1814
- 14 Henrietta Street
Origin of Victor Gollancz publishers, who published some of Daphne du Maurier's works!

Oscar Wilde was held here for two weeks.

John Dryden was nearly beaten to death during a mugging in the alleyway at the side.
