After first openhing in 1927, TORRY ACADEMY in Aberdeen closed its doors for the last time in 2018. It merged with Kincorth Academy in the newly built Lochside Academy.
The six years I spent at Torry were some of the greatest years I've known. The school saved me from myself. "I pledge the part of me that learned to love the word and the world eternally to those corridors where stories came to life, and in turn to those educators who brought about that light. By Wisdom and Honesty, with these memories I love thee; in my heart evermore will be Torry Academy."
